Product introduction


The MGTSV type optical cable is an outdoor communication optical cable with metal reinforced components, loose layer twisted filling type, steel polyethylene bonding sheath, wrapped steel wire armor, and blue polyvinyl chloride flame retardant sheath.


Product Feature


•Full interface water blocking structure, double-sided coated steel strip longitudinal wrapping, ensuring good water blocking performance and lateral pressure resistance;

•Fill the loose tube with special grease to provide critical protection for the optical fiber;

•Phosphated steel wire center reinforcement component has high modulus and corrosion resistance;

•The LSZH sheath endows the optical cable with excellent flame retardant properties;

•The product has a service life of over 30 years.

1. Underground communication system



Voice communication:

used for real-time communication between miners and ground dispatch centers, supporting emergency command and daily communication.


Video surveillance:

transmitting high-definition video signals underground, monitoring the operation status of coal mining faces, transportation tunnels, equipment, etc., to enhance safety supervision capabilities.

Wireless communication base station interconnection:

provides backbone transmission channels for Wi Fi, 4G/5G mining base stations, and supports mobile terminal networking.


2. Safety monitoring system


Environmental parameter monitoring:

Real time transmission of sensor data such as gas concentration, temperature and humidity, carbon monoxide, and wind speed to the ground monitoring center.

Product Installation and maintenance

1. Regular inspection

Arrange dedicated personnel to regularly inspect optical cable lines, check for any damage, contamination, or construction issues, and promptly identify and repair them.

Regularly inspect key nodes such as splice boxes and distribution boxes of optical cable lines to ensure that the joints are in good condition, free from water immersion and debris accumulation.

2. Cleaning and maintenance

Regularly clean the optical cable, remove dust, dirt, etc. that may affect transmission, and keep the surface of the optical cable clean.

Fiber optic cleaner and wiping cloth can be used for cleaning. When wiping, pay attention to maintaining an appropriate angle with the fiber optic to avoid scratching it.

3. Fixed protection

Properly fix and protect the optical cable to avoid damage or breakage caused by external forces.

Check if the hanging point position of the optical cable is appropriate, ensure that the fittings and insulators at the hanging point are normal, and there are no discharge, damage, or other phenomena.

4. Waterproof and moisture-proof

Optical cables are prone to moisture in mining environments and require corresponding waterproof and moisture-proof measures, such as using sealing materials, waterproof sleeves, etc.

Regularly check if the fiber optic cable sheath is intact to prevent moisture from seeping into the interior of the cable.

5. Temperature control

The temperature fluctuation in the mining environment is large, and measures need to be taken to maintain a stable working temperature to avoid the impact of high or low temperature on the optical cable.

6. Maintain records

Establish maintenance records for optical cables, including inspection dates, maintenance content, maintenance personnel, and other information, to facilitate later tracking and management.
