The Model CY-T088-A Fiber Optic Splice Closure is mainly used for optical fiber connection and protection. This kind of box is suitable for the connection of overhead, pipe and buried straight and branch.The box body and base are sealed with hoops and rubber. The closure casing is made of quality engineering plastics, and of good performance of anti-erosion against acid and alkali salt, anti-aging, as well as smooth appearance and reliable mechanical structure. The mechanical structure is reliable and has the performance of resisting wild environment and intensive climate changes and serious working environment.The splice trays (FOST) inside the closure are turn-able like booklets, and have adequate curvature radius and space for winding optical fiber to make sure the curvature radius for optical winding 40 mm. Each optical cable and fiber can be operated individually.The product can be opened again and re us ed after installation

Gather all necessary tools and materials, including the fiber optic splice closure, fiber optic cables, splicing machine, cable strippers, cleaning supplies (alcohol wipes), heat shrink tubing, and cable ties.
Use a cable stripper to carefully remove the outer jacket of the fiber optic cable, exposing the inner fibers and strength members. Be cautious not to damage the delicate fibers.
Clean the exposed fibers with alcohol wipes to remove any dirt or grease. Then, strip the coating off the individual fibers using a fiber stripper.
Use a fusion splicer to align and join the fibers from both cables. Ensure the splice is clean and secure. Protect the splice point with heat shrink tubing.
Carefully place the spliced fibers into the splice tray inside the closure. Organize the fibers neatly to avoid bending or breaking them.
Close the splice closure and ensure it is properly sealed to protect the fibers from moisture, dust, and other environmental factors. Use cable ties to secure the cables at the entry and exit points.
Use an optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) or power meter to test the connection and ensure the splice is functioning correctly.
Mount the splice closure at the designated location, such as a pole, wall, or underground enclosure. Ensure it is securely fastened and protected from environmental hazards.
