GYTC8S figure 8 fiber optic cable is an figure 8 self-supporting layer twisted optical cable. GYTC8S figure 8 fiber optic cable wraps single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers into a loose tube made of high modulus plastic (or polyester material), which is filled with a water-resistant compound to ensure the dryness and safety of the fibers. The center of the cable core is a metal reinforcement core, which provides the cable with extremely high tensile strength. For optical cables with a large number of cores, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded outside the metal reinforced core, and the cable core is longitudinally wrapped with plastic coated steel tape (or steel plastic composite tape) and placed parallel to the steel strand. At the same time, an figure 8 polyethylene sheath is extruded to form the cable.
