Product Introduction of Outdoor Optical Cable Fiber GYFXTY


The GYFXTY cable is constructed by inserting 250um fiber into a loose tube made of a high-modulus material filled with a water-repellent compound. The loose tube is provided with a water blocking material to ensure the longitudinal blocking of the cable,and two parallel glass fiber reinforced plastic(FRP) are placed on both sides to extrude the polyethylene sheath to form a cable.

How to Install and Maintain GYFXTY Optical Cable Fiber


◇Cable Handling Before Installation

Handle the GYFXTY fiber optic cable carefully during transport and laying. Avoid sharp bending, twisting, or impact to protect the loose tube and FRP strength members.


◇Tension Control During Installation

Maintain proper pulling tension and do not exceed the rated strength (≥1500N short-term) to avoid fiber damage in the optical cable fiber structure.


◇Bending Radius Compliance

Follow the minimum bending radius requirements:

  • Static: 12.5 × cable diameter

  • Dynamic: 25 × cable diameter

This ensures stable transmission performance.


◇Aerial and Duct Installation

The GYFXTY fiber optic cable supports both aerial and duct installation. Avoid friction points and ensure smooth cable routing.


Sealing and Maintenance
